Since ancient times Azerbaijan has been known as one of the largest centers of traditional handicrafts, including carpets, jewelry, embroideries, textiles, ceramics, copperware etc. The carpet is an integral part of the Azerbaijani culture.
The exhibition ERRORS OF BEAUTY: Contemporary Austrian Art in Sofia was opened on November 24, 2016, at the Naional Gallery in Bulgaria’s capital. H.E. Mag. Roland Hauser, Ambassador of Austria, Ms. Slava Ivanova, the Director of the National Gallery, and the exhibition curator Mr. Boris Kostadinov spoke at the opening ceremony.
