Feeding the Planet: Energy for Life, this is the motto of EXPO 2015 in Milan. On September 1 something happened there that has never happened at a world exhibition before: representatives of 11 different religions came together at the Expo Centre to talk about the production and consumption of food around the world.
You can literally touch living nature in the Biodiversity Park which is situated at the EXPO 2015 in Milan. You can caress flowers and vegetables planted in flowerbeds between the pavilions of the Park. When you enter the Slow Food Pavilion, you are invited to guess what seeds are put in the big wooden boxes with covers of opaque cloth.
A conference on the role of organic agriculture in the fight against climate-change, held at the Biodiversity Park at Expo Milano 2015, was the occasion for some considerations: food for thought.
The Sarajevo Film Festival, which was held in the Bosnian capital from 14 to 22 August 2015, announced its winners and awards. The theme of the EXPO 2015 in Milan is Feeding the Planet. It’s not by chance that every pavilion, besides a shop selling goods and souvenirs from the particular country, has a national cuisine restaurant, too.
Half of the EXPO 2015 Universal Exhibition in Milan has passed and we have just now managed to visit it. Unfortunately, there is no Bulgarian participation, although the exhibition’s theme – Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life, does not sound alien to the ordinary Bulgarian.
For more than a month the space of the Credo Bonum Gallery will be living according the laws of geometry, in the rhythm of color, and with sound and light. The exhibition “Color, Sound, Movement” is showcasing artists who consider art to be a dedicated laboratory activity.
H. E. Mr. Camillo Zuccoli, Ambassador of the Sovereign Order of Malta to Bulgaria, was bestowed with a significant papal distinction, the Order of St. Gregory the Great. The Order was conferred by Bishop Christo Proykov, the Apostolic Exarch of Sofia for the Bulgarian eastern Catholics.
