{"id":37006,"date":"2023-04-24T13:00:32","date_gmt":"2023-04-24T11:00:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/evropaworld.eu\/?p=37006"},"modified":"2023-04-24T13:40:58","modified_gmt":"2023-04-24T11:40:58","slug":"invitation-for-the-cinema-section-of","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/evropaworld.eu\/en\/invitation-for-the-cinema-section-of\/","title":{"rendered":"INVITATION FOR THE CINEMA SECTION OF THE INTERNATIONAL YOUTH ARTS FESTIVAL &#8220;THE MUSES&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The Muses IYFF invites you to take part in this year&#8217;s short film competition which will take place in its second session between 10 and 15 July 2023.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition is open to fiction, documentary, animation, experimental and hybrid films with maximum duration of 20 minutes divided in 3 categories:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Non-professional films &#8211; You can apply in this category if you are still in high school, or if you have never studied filmmaking.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Student Films &#8211; You may apply in this category if you are currently a student in a film school.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional Films &#8211; You may apply in this category if you have already completed your film education including with your graduation films, whether or not you have already graduated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A jury of 3 film professionals will award the following prizes in each category:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Best Feature Film,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Best Documentary,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Best Animated Film,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Best Experimental Film,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Best Hybrid Film,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Best Screenplay,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Best Cinematography,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Best Male Actor<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Best Actress<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Please submit your films to the following email address with a download link:<\/strong> <a href=\"mailto:mihaylovyancho.muzite@gmail.com\">mihaylovyancho.muzite@gmail.com<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>On MP4 file, H264 codec, minimum resolution FullHD, minimum 25 bit rate with English subtitles.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Deadline for submissions to the competition programme: 15.05.2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>IMPORTANT:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will be three masterclasses organized for the participants with films competing in the Student Films category of the festival:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Screenwriting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Cinematography<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211; Acting for cinema<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To participate in one of the three master classes, please send the following additional information: the name of the institution where you are studying; field of study; year of study; filmography (for film students), possibly with links to the student films you have made, or a list of the roles you have played during your studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Applications for the Masterclasses are accepted until 31.05.2023 at <a href=\"mailto:mihaylovyancho.muzite@gmail.com\">mihaylovyancho.muzite@gmail.com<\/a>.
