The second edition of the Asian Festival will be held on Saturday, May 12th, 2018, from 10am – 8pm, in Borisova Garden, Sofia. The event is aimed at bringing the “Colours of Traditions” of Asia to the people of Bulgaria and the international communities in Sofia, organized with the joined efforts of the Asian Embassies and Diplomatic missions in Bulgaria, namely: China, India, Indonesia, Iran, Japan, Mongolia, Palestine, Pakistan, Philippines, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, State of Kuwait, Thailand and Vietnam.

The Asian Festival is also organized thanks to Sofia Municipality, the State Cultural Institute of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Tourism and the Ministry of Culture, as well as the invaluable support of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria –H.E. Mr. Rumen Radev. 10,000 visitors are expected to visit the festival, take part and enjoy more than 30 different activities, typical for the Asian culture – dance, music, art, cuisine and traditions of the biggest continent on Earth.

The guests will have the chance to experience the magic of the Asian culture while supporting the charity initiative of the festival. A tombola can be entered by everyone who wants to win raffle prizes like vouchers for holidays, massages, dinners as well as the biggest of all – 2 tickets to an Asian destination by choice provided by Turkish Airlines. All the proceeds and donations will be donated to children in foster care, supported by the partner of the festival – “For Our Children” Foundation.
